The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops held a consultation of Catholic leaders and scientists to examine the role of the environment on the unborn. NCRLC Science and Environmental Education Specialist Tim Kautza represented NCRLC at the meeting.

Faroes Islands, May 2007
At the International Conference on Fetal Programming and Developmental Toxicity, researchers in the fields of environmental health, environmental chemistry, developmental biology, toxicology, epidemiology, nutrition and pediatrics highlighted new insights into the effects of prenatal and early postnatal exposure to chemical agents and their sustained effects on humans.
