America and the independent farmer.

For America’s forgotten farmers: that we are always mindful of the migrant farm laborers
and their struggle for justice and dignity.

For our country’s farmers: that they always serve as wise stewards of our natural
resources.
We pray to the Lord…

R: Lord, hear our prayer.


Dear God, our Creator: May we always view rural life as a precious gift from you. Bless
the men and women whom you have called to a vocation in farming. Keep us ever
mindful of their struggles. Grant us your grace that we may all serve as faithful stewards
of the land you have entrusted to humanity.
