COOL CONGREGATIONS -- Solving Global Warming One Family at a Time
Iowa Interfaith Power & Light (www.ncrlc.com/IIPandL-webpage.html)Education Working Group conducts "Cool Congregations" workshops around the state. Participants learn how to organize a stewardship program in their own congregation where congregants can pledge energy efficiency, save money and prevent global warming pollution. There is no charge for this workshop and host congregations are always being sought (see below).

All area congregations are invited to participate in these three workshops. Find out more by contacting the individuals listed.
"Cool Congregations" will also be conducted as part of gathering of the Southeastern Iowa Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in Cedar Rapids, March 10.
Additional host congregational sites are sought. Available dates are February 3,17; March 3,17,24,31. This is a cooperative effort with Iowa Interfaith Climate and Energy Campaign (visit www.ncrlc.com/IICEC.html) .
