Iowa Interfaith Power & Light (IIP&L), formed in February 2006, is a joint initiative of Muslim, Christian, Jewish and other faith communities to mitigate global climate change in order to protect God’s sacred creation and safeguard public health. The focus of IIP&L activities and services will be directed to helping individual congregations (churches, synagogues, mosques, centers) reduce fossil fuel use, improve energy efficiency, and reduce overall energy use.
