James F. Ennis is executive director of the National Catholic Rural Life Conference. He was former director of Food Alliance Midwest, a Minnesota-based affiliate of the national organization. Jim also brings a background in marketing and project management experience, such as leading cross-functional teams in marketing food products with the Pillsbury Company. He earned an MBA degree with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Minnesotas Carlson School of Management, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, where he studied agricultural and managerial economics.

Tim Kautza is science and environmental specialist for NCRLC. He applies his natural science and education experience to our work on environmental issues, antibiotic resistance, food safety, and global climate change. He works with religious orders, dioceses, and parishes in examining their care for creation. Tim received a B.S. in biology and education from St. Norbert College and a M.S. in Education from Drake University. Robert Gronski is the policy coordinator for NCRLC. His varied background includes a doctorate in the sociology of agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia (1997) and several years experience in rural development and food relief programs in Asia and the Pacific. Judith Pojda coordinates the Agribusiness Accountability Initiative. She works with five global regions to raise the profile of corporate control of food as a priority issue among advocacy groups, specifically farm, environment, labor, consumer, faith and development organizations. Judith holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Communications from Cornell University and a B.S. in Food Science.
